2nd Annual Lakeland VW Show - March 16, 2008

We started the day by meeting a few volks on U.S. 27 in Avon Park. After leaving in a small caravan of six volks, we had to stop to fix a small oil leak on one of them. Then we proceeded to Lakeland and we arrived with no mishaps, other than the baffle from one of the dune buggies came off flying out of the stinger. It was a long day at the show. Finally at around 5pm, the trophies were given. Our Karmann Ghia took first place in the modified category, but for some reason they could not find the trophy. Eddie said that it will be mailed. As soon as I get it, I will take pics and post here.
